Kolmården

Kolmården is the largest zoo in Scandinavia. 750 wild attractions from all over the jungle, savannah and oceans of the world collected in one place are waiting for both children and adults. The park also offers a wide variety of restaurants and lots of overnight accommodation if you want to extend your stay.

At a fascinating thematic complex “Tiger World” you will be able to see in close up an extraordinary beautiful Siberian tiger which is the representative of endangered species of wildlife.

Come and plunge into Marine World! You will fell like at Key West, Florida enjoying a world-class dolphin show or experiencing a breathtaking ride on the Dolphin Express roller coaster. You’ll be fascinated with playful penguins and treated to a charming seal show.

Children are awaited a lot of funny entertainment at Kolmården. They can get here into the “magical world of bear BAMS» (Bamses Värld), in the town of adventures with the longest slide in Sweden (Wild Camp) and “Children’s Farm» (Barnens Lantgård), where you can pet the animals. There is a children’s playground which is really exciting and cool! It has good access for disabled.

The world’s first cableway with gondola was launched in Kalmorden in 2011. It enabled visitors to watch wild animals from around the world including lions, bears and wolves very close.
